Thread Facelift and Brow Lift

There are many methods in Aesthetic Surgery such as botox, filler, peeling, dermabrasion, fat injection, laser treatments, radiofrequency to eliminate this sagging and aging effects on our face.
However, all these methods cannot completely correct the problem and their effects are temporary.
The most effective solution to sagging facial skin is of course the face lift surgeries we call “face lift”. Despite this feature of face lift surgeries that radically solves the problem, many patients, especially in our country, avoid this operation for various reasons and want this process to be alleviated or corrected with simpler methods. At this point, the method of tightening and suspending the sagging parts of the face using specially developed suture materials and suspension devices has emerged. However, it should be noted that these methods are never an alternative to a face lift operation.
In the thread facelift application, which is a brand new method offered by aesthetic surgery, you can finally achieve a young appearance with the tightening effect of these threads on the face. The notches on the threads used in this application ensure that the skin is fixed in the desired direction and prevent the facial skin pulled upwards and backwards from returning. Since the excess skin is spread evenly along the stitch, no skin folds are formed. However, this method cannot be applied in cases with too much sagging in the skin. In these patients, the surgical facelift method must be applied. The eyebrows can also be lifted to the desired extent using these threads. This method can also be used to tighten the neck skin in suitable patients. The aim in neck lift is to obtain a younger neck appearance and to make the neck-chin angle more aesthetically correct without the need for long surgery times and neck lift surgery scars.
There are no visible surgical scars in thread face and neck lift and eyebrow lift applications. Only a very small scar will remain in the scalp. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and can take up to an hour.

Thread face and neck lift, eyebrow lift can be applied to all patients who are candidates for face lift operations and do not have a health problem that prevents the operation. However, we can list the characteristics of the patient group that will provide maximum benefit from the procedure as follows.
- Those who are between the ages of 35 and 50,
- Especially those who have sagging in the midface area and deepening of the nose-lip folds due to this, hollowing in the under-eye area, collapse in the cheeks, drooping eyebrows and sagging in the lower jaw area,
- Those who do not need much skin tissue removal,
- Those who do not want a face lift operation,
- Tighten face and neck lift, eyebrow lift can be applied to those who have realistic expectations from the procedure.
The effect of the procedure can last for 2-3 years. During this period, the effects of the procedure will decrease and gradually disappear with the aging and sagging of the skin and the thinning of the subcutaneous fat tissue.
Although the procedure is very rare, it has some risks. There may be slight edema and bruising in those areas immediately after the procedure. These will completely disappear within 3-5 days. The threads used may be visible from the outside, there may be asymmetry between the two sides, which can be corrected at that moment if it occurs during the procedure. In addition, the asymmetry can be corrected by your doctor within three weeks after the procedure. Additional threads may be required for asymmetries that may occur in the longer term. There may be very rare skin fold marks in the application area, but this is also temporary.
